Lágrimas de Obergo

As a ‘prêt-à-porter’ wine, our rosé is very special. It has a nonconformist, young character, that fusions a sensual freshness with a unique personality, achieving a wine that stood out from the rest and has continued to do so down through the years.

Tasting notes

Beautiful crystal-clear aspect and subtle shades of strawberry pink. Explosion of fresh fruit with a hint of flowers, fresh and pleasant in the mouth, with an earthy lingering.

Bright cherry pink colour. Primary notes of plum and red berries with pink citrus. The palate has a youthful bite, fresh and crisp red fruit, medium bodied with a rounded finish.

Lágrimas de Obergo

Perfect with salad, appetizers, pasta, as well as seafood paella.

Suggested serving temperature: 10ºC

Lágrimas de Obergo

Winemaker notes

Created from the must of three different varieties proceeding from a selection of our Secastilla Valley vineyards. Steeped for hours in order to extract a must rich in fruity aromas, specific to the grape. Cleansing and fermenting at mild temperature, we have achieved a rosé that stood out from the rest and has continued to do so down through the years.

Harvest: Manual in 20 kg cases in September.
Elaboration: Selection table at entrance of the winery. De-stemming and opened up grapes directly over the tank. Must separation at night and traditional open pressing.
Temperature controlled fermentation at 16ºC. Post-fermentative maceration with lees. No oak ageing.
