Straw in colour with golden glints. On the nose it is distinctive for its fresh fruity aroma of stone fruit, peach and apricot. Fine lees, aromatic pastry, spiced oak. In the mouth it is flavourful, rounded, powerful, fruity and balanced.

Winemaker notes
The organic grapes used in this wine are hand harvested, and at night in order to preserve maximum freshness.
The individual character of Alunado derives from the way it is made. In fact, this wine is only put on the market when the harvest has been exceptional. The grapes undergo a very gentle de-stemming, separating them from the stalk ready for pressing with the greatest delicacy. Only the highest quality must, the free-run juice from a very gentle first pressing, is used for Alunado. Once the must is clear and ready to be converted into wine, the process of transformation begins in small capacity tanks. Once fermentation has begun, the wine is transferred to barriques in which the fermentation and subsequent ageing are completed.
